Sue Bernice LaVine, 80, Chase Mills

CHASE MILLS -- Sue Bernice LaVine, 80, passed away on June 22, 2024, at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center.

Sue was born July 3, 1943, in Spotsylvania, Virginia, the daughter of the late Ernest and Ruby (Rankin) Hynson.

She attended school at Norwood-Norfolk Central School and later married Theodore LaVine.

Sue was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Sue enjoyed going for rides in her beloved Mustang.

Sue is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Theodore; her children, Kevin (Kelly) Addison, Teri Fallon, Darlene (Donna) LaVine, Marshel Addison and Ted (Jennifer) LaVine; 6 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; a niece, Karen (Fouad) Kerendian and nephew Jason (Elisa) Ackerley.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Catherine Ruby and Barbara Ackerley, and a brother, Elton Hynson.

There will be no public calling hours.

Burial will take place in Louisville Community Cemetery.
