STOCKHOLM -- A writer from Stockholm has won the nonfiction division in the 2019 North Country Writer’s Contest sponsored by the Jeferson County Community College English Department.
Jan A. Wojcik, Stockholm, has won with a piece called "Cowpaths Towards a More Perfect Union.”
Winners were awarded $100. All winning and honorable mention entries will be published online at www.sunyjefferson.edu and printed in the 30th edition of the Black River Review, a journal of poetry, prose, musical arrangements, and fine arts, to be released in April 2020.
