Stephanie Carol Whitehill Kinney, 49, Canton

CANTON -- Stephanie Carol Whitehill Kinney, 49, of Irishsettlement Road, Canton passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Alliance Health Center in Kingston, NY surrounded by her loved ones.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 29 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 21 Park Street, Canton.

Her memorial service will immediately follow the calling hours.

Additional off-street parking is available behind “LUNA” at 18 Park Street.

A Celebration of Life will be held following the memorial service at the BINGO Hall in Morley.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Potsdam Humane Society.
Stephanie was born in Potsdam, NY on February 7, 1975 a daughter to Richard H. and Deborah E. (Middlemiss) Whitehill. She graduated from Canton Central School in 1996.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Charles Kinney of Canton; two sons, Robert Kinney of Canton NY and Charles Kinney of NY; four daughters, Cheyenne Kinney of Canton NY, Tiffany Durham of VA, Lori Kinney of NY and Jennifer Ignacio of NY; a brother, Patrick Whitehill of Lisbon NY and Melinda (Andrew) Conant of Canton NY; Paternal Grandmother, Linda Sparks of Malone NY; as well as one niece and two nephews.

She was predeceased by her Grandmother Arline Middlemiss and her Grandfather Francis Middlemiss.

In addition to raising her family, Stephanie enjoyed fishing, animals- especially horses, unicorns, computer games, card games and precious time spent with her family.
