Elise Stefanik has demonstrated her support continuously for the residents of the 21st Congressional District over the past 8 years.

Her willingness to stand beside farmers and support sound policies, such as providing regulatory reform and tax relief, makes it easier for farmers to operate and thrive in New York State. Stefanik has been awarded "Friend of the New York Farm Bureau" every year in Congress because of her strong legislative voting record and leadership standing up for New York agriculture.

Elise understands how important the Northern Border issues are to us and our communities. Responding to this crisis, she helped pass the strongest border security bill in the history of Congress - the “Secure the Border Act’’.

Elise understands and appreciates the value of the Second Amendment of our constitution. The NRA recognizes her work in defending our God-given right and gives her an A plus rating for defending the constitutional right to keep and bear arms. Elise understands with her legislative work that it is imperative that law-abiding citizens maintain their rights while firearms are kept out of the hands of criminals.

Her role in the House is unprecedented in North Country history. As Chairwoman of the House Republican Conference, she provides the primary forum for communicating the party's message to the rank-and-file members. She also has responsibility for supporting congressional elected Republican representatives across the United States.

Elise not only represents the people of the North Country but she is also the 3rd most important Republican in the House.
