OGDENSBURG -- State Police have made a felony arrest with the Troop B Violent Gangs and Narcotics Enforcement Team on Aug. 30.
Police say Tina L. Hooper, 58, of Ogdensburg was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd (A-Felony), 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (B-Felonies) and 3 counts of Unlicensed Cannabis Sales (A-Misdemeanors).
According to police, the charges are in relation to a multi-agency, long-term investigation into illegal sales of cannabis and controlled substances from unlicensed cannabis stores, specifically West Coast Convenience, located at 428 State Street in Ogdensburg, where she was employed.
Hooper was arraigned in Ogdensburg City Court and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional facility without bail.
