PARISHVILLE — The Laurentian Chapter of the Adirondack Mountain Club will paddle the West Branch of the St. Regis River from Saunders Falls on Sunday, May 12. Gain rare access to a wild boreal forest and grasslands, visit an Adirondack Great Lodge, takeout at a remote cabin. Participants must wear a PFD and bring a lightweight canoe or kayak. No fishing gear is allowed. The paddle is flat, but there is some swift water. Five miles paddling, half-mile carry on rough logging road. With Laurentian Chapter, Adirondack Mountain Club.
