The St. Lawrence County Office for the Aging is offering seven free public medicare 101 informational presentations in the community to help answer questions and concerns regarding Medicare plan options and open enrollment.  

The department only has one Medicare counselor and it can be challenging to schedule a one-on-one meeting during open enrollment with over 25,000 older adults in our county.  

Take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about Medicare and how to make informed choices about health insurance options.

• Sept. 24 at 11:30 a.m. in Potsdam at Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley, 6805 US Highway 11;
• Sept. 25 at 6 p.m. at the Ogdensburg Public Library, 312 Washington St.;
• Oct. 1 at 5:30 p.m. in Potsdam at the Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley, 6805 US Highway 11;
• Oct. 3 at 10 a.m. in Canton at the Human Resource Building, 80 State Hwy 310, 2nd

Floor Conference Room;

• Oct. 8 at 11 a.m. in Gouverneur at the Community Center, 4673 NY 58; and
