North Country This Week has been unable to verify reports that Vice President J.D. Vance is coming to Ogdensburg Monday.
Initial rumors shared with the paper said Vance would be flying into the Ogdensburg Airport, but conflicting reports claim he'll be landing in Fort Drum.
The Albany Times Union and New York Post have posted stories citing the claim.
North Country This Week has received a number of calls on the matter and has reached out for confirmation to a variety of officials, but none have verified the rumors on the record or provided via an official response.
According to the reports Vance is expected to join Republican Anthony Constantino in a support rally just one day before election day and as early voting wraps up.
Constantino in a heated race for the NY-21st Congressional District currently held by Rep. Elise Stefanik. He is being challenged by Lisbon Dairy Farmer Blake Gendebien.
North Country This Week will provide additional information as it becomes available.
