Ronald C. Agen, 50, Norwood

NORWOOD -- Ronald C. Agen, 50, of 300 Porter Lynch Road, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at Lehigh Acres-Hope Hospital in Florida surrounded by his loving family.

Ronnie was born on May 15, 1974, in Potsdam, son of Susan Bond and the late Raymond Agen.

He attended Madrid-Wadding and Norwood-Norfolk schools and married Lynette Vari on July 29, 2023, in Massena.

He worked for Steve Trimm’s Trucking and loved his John Deere memorabilia that he collected over the years. Ronnie loved spending time with his family and proudly bragged about his three grandchildren whom he was very proud of.

He is survived by his wife Lynette; his daughters Emily and Marissa Agen; two stepdaughters Brooke Ritchie and Chontell Wilbur; three grandchildren Theo, Wyatt and Scarlett; his six siblings Debbie and Glenn Dailey of Felda, FL; Elizabeth and Richard Holliday of Massena; Kristen (Robert Vallance) Autry of Madrid; David Ashley of Norfolk; Daniel and Katelyn Agen of Waddington and Edward and Becky Ashley of Massena; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ronald was predeceased by his father Raymond Agen and a sister Tiffany Ashley in infancy.

A Celebration of Life will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
