Robert J. Borsellino, 70, Massena

MASSENA – Robert J. “Bob” Borsellino, 70, of State Highway 420, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2024, at his home.

Bob was born in Massena on October 30, 1953, the son of John and Virginia (Michaud) Borsellino and was a graduate of Massena Central School.

Bob was an equipment operator for the Village of Massena for many years and was also a longtime member of the Massena Volunteer Fire Department.

He enjoyed being outside with hunting and ATVing being some of his favorite pastimes. He also enjoyed puttering on anything mechanical and the great friendships he forged.

Bob is survived by his daughters, Tracy (Travis) Hartwell of Oneonta and Karen Borsellino (Matt Stoddard) of Corinth; his faithful canine companion, Harley; his parents, John and Virginia of Massena; his sisters, Trina Fuller and Tammy Barber; his brother, William (Dorry) Borsellino of Waddington; and many nieces and nephews.

Bob was predeceased by a brother, Scott Borsellino and a sister, Bonnie Martin.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena, where friends may call on Friday 1-3:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing may consider memorial contributions to be made in his memory to the Massena Volunteer Fire Department.
