POTSDAM — Race car driver Dustin Bradley visited the Potsdam Mentoring Program at A.A. Kingston Middle School, on Thursday, Oct. 15, during an after-school activity.
“Mr. Bradley shared his race car with the students, having them do basic pit stop maintenance on the car,” said Candee Smith, Potsdam Mentoring Program coordinator.
Bradley, who lives in Potsdam, answered questions about racing, the costs involved, travel, and more.
Students were able to sit inside the car as well and get their photo taken as well.
“Mr. Bradley was happy to start the race car up for students to hear it run,” Smith said.
Bradley gave autographed photos to each student.
“This was a great opportunity to all involved as most of us have never seen a race car in person,” Smith said.
