To the Editor:
On February 29th, I witnessed a Potsdam police officer in a patrol car picking up their child from school while on duty. They were traveling at least 40 mph in a school zone and did not use their turn signals.
It begs the question, are traffic rules not applicable to them? Are we, the taxpayers, funding individuals who enforce laws they themselves do not adhere to?
