POTSDAM — Potsdam police said they charged a Norfolk man with petit larceny stemming from alleged thefts from a Market Street business. Rolland A. Richards, 43, was cited for two counts of petit larceny on June 8 after being located by state police and taken to Potsdam PD where he was cited and released.

POTSDAM — A Potsdam man was charged following a traffic stop June 8, according to village police. Chad R. Narrow, 51, was cited for unlicensed operation and unregistered motor vehicle at 9:03 p.m. on Pine Street for operating an unregistered moped, and for driving without a license.

POTSDAM — Police said they charged 34-year old Karthikeya Thota, 24, Potsdam, with failure to yield row at a stop sign at the intersection of Market and Munson streets at 10:14 p.m. on June 8.

POTSDAM — Logan R. Decarr, 30, Potsdam, was fired for non-transparent rear glass on June 8 at 10:17 p.m. on SH 345, officers said. The vehicle he was operating allegedly had tape covering the rear-side window.

POTSDAM — A Greenport resident was charged with drug possession June 7 stemming from an alleged incident on March 17, according to village police. Emelys J. Villareal, 24, was cited for seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 12:13 a.m. on Market Street, police said. She was cited and released, officers said.
