POTSDAM — Potsdam Author Dean Hitchman, who retired from Alcoa in 1997, has released his first book.
‘Imperfect Partners’ dives into the policies that pushed manufacturing out of the United States.
As someone who worked in manufacturing for 37 years, Hitchman says he has a unique perspective on the matter that will resonate with many who saw this mass exodus of American manufacturing.
“Among the most adversely affected economies around the globe, none has sustained more loss than the made in USA Label. The American worker has been neglected by our highest governing institutions for far too long as our top legislators paved the way for corporate America in their quest for wealth and power under the guise of creating a new global economy. Put America first is decades overdue for our political leaders to protect the interest of the citizens they represent, equally to the power and privilege,” Hitchman’s book says.
The book was published by Christian Faith Publishing and is available on Amazon.com.
