HERMON – Two St. Lawrence County residents accused of stealing a trailer and camper in the Town of Hermon were remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.
The St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office charged Kara McGregor, 36, Potsdam, with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a felony. Justin Whitmarsh, 36, of Edwards, is also charged with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a felony, tied to the same reported theft. Authorities also allege Whitmarsh had methamphetamine and charged him with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.
The alleged incident was reported on May 11 on Evans Road in Hermon, said sheriff’s deputies.
They were both arraigned in Lisbon Town Court and remanded to the county jail.
