Phyllis Ann Gardner, 82, Potsdam

POTSDAM -- Phyllis Ann Gardner age 82 of Potsdam, NY passed away Monday, May 27, 2024, under the care of The Arc Jefferson- St. Lawrence.

A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Fox & Murray Funeral Home.

Phyllis was born February 8, 1942, in Ogdensburg, NY to Frandy and Frances (Lefert) Gardner.

Phyllis moved to Sunmount in Tupper Lake at age 28. She later moved to Pine Street in Potsdam, where she became like family to the community and staff.

Listening to music and taking trips with her housemates to community events were a few of her joys.

Phyllis is survived by her brothers, Gary (Jane) Gardner, and Charles Gardner both of Rossie; her niece, Elizabeth Gardner of Fulton and nephew, Nicholas (Jennifer) Gardner and his children, Kennon, Nolan, Jensen, and Vivian of Rossie.

She was predeceased by her parents, Frandy and Frances Gardner, her sister, Mary Gardner, and sister-in-law, Linda (Charles) Gardner.

The family is ever grateful to the men and women who cared for Phyllis over the years that she lived in Tupper Lake and Potsdam, you are truly doing the work of God.
