Penney Lee Burdick, 68, North Lawrence

NORTH LAWRENCE -- Penney Lee Burdick, 68, passed away at her home, under the loving care of her family and Hospice on May 23, 2024.

Her family will honor her life privately, arrangements entrusted with Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop.

Penney was born on July 10, 1955, in Potsdam, daughter of the late Walter and Gloria (Frank) Gilbert.

She attended school in Parishville and on December 11th, 1976, she married Steven Burdick. They shared a blessed union for over 47 years.

Penney worked for NYSARC/ St. Lawrence as a care provider.

She is survived by her husband, Steven. 2 daughters, Laurie Razis and Carrie Burdick, and her son-in-law, Andy Perkins.

Her grandchildren were as precious to her as Life itself. Their names are Jasmin and Kristofor Razis, Trinity and Taylor Thesier, Morgan Perkins, and Nate Perkins.

Penney's family is very important to her. She is survived by 5 siblings and their spouses. Ethel Gilbert, Sylvia and Gordie Earle, Connie and Tim Gilbert- Antwine, Mary Gilbert, and Nelson and Diane Gilbert. Vera Phillips who is passed. Penney was close to her Brother and sister in laws. Ron and Diane Burdick, Mike Burdick and his partner Pam. Gary Burdick, Marilyn Motter, and Karen Clark who have passed.

Penney enjoyed spending time with her several nephews and nieces.
