Posted

ANTWERP -- Paul R Peacock II age 63 of Crestview, Florida passed from this life on September 14, 2022.

He was born in Antwerp, NY on August 22, 1959, to Paul and Margaret Peacock.

Paul grew up in New York and spent his childhood in Antwerp, where he graduated from Indian River High School. After high school, he joined the United States Air Force and proudly served his country for over 20 years.

After retiring from the military as a Retired Master Sergeant and a Desert Storm and Desert Shield Veteran, he worked as a military contractor until he became a civil service employee with DCMA for the last 12 years.

If you knew and loved Paul, you knew he loved his motorcycles and the wind in his hair. He could make fixing things look like an art. But as good as he was with a wrench, he was just as good at drawing. He was a Scout Master and a member of the NRA.

But more than anything, he loved his family and his friends. If you have a minute to listen to anyone who was close to him, you will hear the vivacious life he lived shining through their stories as they recant memories of him.

He adored his family, and his family adored him. He was very close to his three grandsons and spent time enjoying being their Papa. The gentle love he had for his family will be the cornerstone of memories that will forever fill their heart with his presence.

He left behind several great friends that were like family. There was not one person that did not know that he was an amazing soul and would help anyone that needed support.

Paul’s love for his grandchildren, riding motorcycles, the great outdoors, and Big Foot will never be forgotten.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Paul is survived by his children, Paul R. Peacock III (Nicole), Whitney Peacock, Sarah Peacock, Brother John Peacock (Debbie), Sisters Susan Binder (Tom) and Cheryl Rock, Grandchildren: Daniel and Lucas Komula and Paul Peacock IV. Paul also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

The Memorial Service for Paul Peacock will take place on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at Wanakena Cemetery at 11:00 A.M., followed by a gathering at the Wanakena Gazebo.
