POTSDAM – With winter now in full swing, the Potsdam Village Police Department is reminding residents about snow removal operations in public lots.
Each lot has one day a week where parking is prohibited from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for snow removal and clean up, said a post on the police department’s Facebook page.
Signs in each lot clearly state the days and times, which are:
Tuesday- Raymond Street Lot
Wednesday - Main Street Lot
Thursday - Island Street parking and Munson Street parking Lot
Snow removal operations began Jan. 9.
“Please help spread the word to allow our Public Works Department a chance to keep our lots clear and safe, and avoid unpleasant tickets and towing,” the department’s post said.
