To the Editor:
On Feb. 13, 2022, Remember Everyone Deployed hosted a military breakfast at the Potsdam High School for active-duty personnel along with veterans. We had a fantastic turnout, as we raised over $3,000, and over 300 candy bars! Each dollar raised will buy 2-3 candy bars to benefit our candy bar drive, which will be brought down to our Fort Drum soldiers in April or May of 2022. Remember Everyone Deployed would like to say thank you to the following:
Barstow Motors (John Barstow): barbeque grill
Potsdam Dunkin Donuts: donated 5 dozen donuts
Potsdam Tim Hortons: donated 5 dozen donuts
Potsdam Mountain Mart: donated 2 half gallons of maple syrup
Ed Gilson: Donated 6 pints of maple syrup
Canton VFW Post 1231: donated $1,000
Massena Amvets: donated $1,000
Parishville Amvets Post 265: donated $300
Potsdam Disabled American Veterans: donated $50
James (Jim) Ling for: donated $50
Kayla Peck and Casey Escobales: cafeteria staff
Henery Curry: Custodial staff
Guest Speakers: Jeff Bryan, David Martin, David Pearson, Randy Burke
Without the continued support of our community, the Positivity Club and Remember Everyone Deployed would not be able to put on events like this. With that said, it is with our deepest heartfelt thanks that you continue to stand with us on our journey of making a difference!
