OSWEGATCHIE -- State police have charged an Ogdensburg man after he allegedly shot down his neighbor's drone.
Police say Joseph H. Dishaw, 60, has been charged with second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon after the incident.
On June 18 around 6:06 p.m., troopers responded to Haggert Road for a report of a drone being shot down, according to police.
After an investigation, police determined Dishaw became angry when his neighbor started flying a drone over his property.
Dishaw allegedly used a shotgun to shoot down the drone in the direction of the victim in a threatening manner, police say.
He was arrested and transported to SP Ogdensburg for processing.
He was then arraigned in Town of Morristown Court where he was released on his own recognizance.
