The GOP had their big bash in “Brew City,” aka Milwaukee, with President Donald Trump (#45) sporting a HUGE band-aid for his “grazed” ear, for all the world to see (show me the stitches!). And, the DNC showed why Chicago is the Windy City (look it up!) as blowhards lined up to gush forth with praises for Vice President Kamala Harris. Now, it’s on to Philadelphia for the first presidential debate between these two rivals this Tuesday, September 10th, at 9pm EDT, on ABC-TV, live from the National Constitution Center.

Yes, dear reader, Trump-vs-Harris, head-to-head, and “LIVE” on ABC-TV, not pre-recorded like the recent CNN “interview” of Harris with her shadow Tim Walz propping her up in her first “interview” since being selected-not-elected to carry the DEMS banner this season. In that CNN attempt at a “probing interview” Ms. Harris actually spoke for less than seventeen(!) minutes after evading reporters’ questions since Joe Biden pulled out of the race on July 21st.

Please join me in praying that ABC moderators Linsey Davis and David Muir will be fair and willing to ask the tough questions of both Harris and Trump, so that “We the People” can hear where both candidates stand on the issues. Pray that the candidates answer the dang questions, instead of tap-dancing around the questions that make them squirm.

Pray that enough lucid American voters (U.S. citizens ONLY, please!) tune in and pay attention to what could be our first and last chance to see Trump and Harris together on one stage, and in one camera shot, although I hope ABC uses the split screen and muted-microphone format that NBC utilized to good effect in the famous Trump-vs-Biden debate in late June.

We know where Trump stands on the border, immigration, energy, the economy, and the Afghanistan withdrawal. We need to hear Harris, number two on the Biden-Harris team, explain why those topics were so severely mishandled during her term as vice president.

I care about guns and the unborn, but they’re not hot-button factors in my voting decision this year, because the Supreme Court has already ruled that gun ownership is Constitutional and legal, and abortion is up to the States, and the two sides will never agree on them. So, get your popcorn ready because Tuesday evening the fun begins.
