NORTH LAWRENCE — A new fitness and community facility has opened its doors at 47 Church Street, inside the restored historic St Lawrence Catholic church.
North Country Vault Athletics celebrated their grand opening with a ribbon cutting and open house Sept. 18. Classes started September 20.
“Set inside an historic 1800s church, The Vault is an indoor fitness center for athletes of all ages and abilities, and a place where sports, recreation, and community events come together,” said owners Lynzie and Scott Schulte.
“From babies taking their first steps in movement to adults looking to get stronger and more active, there’s something happening at The Vault for just about every age,” said Lynzie.
Classes for babies and toddlers include Baby Beginnings and Gymnastics Explorers.
School-age gymnastics programs with a range of ages and skill levels, from kids just getting started to athletes ready for more advanced skills, are available with Trailblazers, Advanced, Elevate, Prep, Rising, and Explorers classes.
Kids and teen sports and athletic training are offered in Basketball skills and Train Like an Athlete.
“These classes build strength, speed, agility, coordination, confidence, and skills that transfer to all kinds of sports,” said Scott.
Homeschool programs have openings in Homeschool Fitness and select Homeschool Gymnastics programming.
Fitness classes for teens and adults include PiYo, Total Body Strength, and Cardio + Conditioning. And you don’t have to sign up for a whole session, drop-ins are welcome for adult strength and fitness classes.
A free community run club is another option for older kids, teens, and adults who want to get moving.
