Nicholas Scott Jackman, 32, formerly of Parishville

Posted

PARISHVILLE -- The soul that has touched us deeply never really leaves us. Though death may have taken you from me, I know you are still here.

Life has to end, love doesn’t. No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye, you were gone before we knew it and only God knows why.

On September 3rd 1991 Lynn Jackman gave birth to her “BABY BOY” Nicholas Scott Jackman.

Nick grew up in Parishville, where he lived with his mother and two siblings. He attended school at Parishville-Hopkinton Central School.

He continued his education at Southeast Lineman School in Georgia later becoming a lineman with IBEW Local 1249 in Syracuse.

Always the outdoor adventurer, Nick loved dog sledding, rock climbing, 4-wheeling, mountain biking and many other outdoor activities, and spending time with his nieces and nephews.

However, his greatest love and joy was the love he shared with his two boys ‘BIRD’ and CW, they completed him.

We will all miss his infectious smile/shit eating grin, his smooth-talking charm, and his sense of style.

Nick is survived by his precious sons, Leyton Scott, age 10, and Colden Wayne, age 2; his mother, Lynn Jackman (Brian Hutton) of Parishville; his maternal grandmother, Sally Planty of Colton; his sister, Deanna and Jeremy McNamara of South Colton, and their children, Lillian, Hayley, McKenzie, and Jackson McNamara; his brother, Daniel R. Grant of Norfolk, and his son, Linkin S. Grant; his aunts and uncles, Skip and Cherie Gee, Gaile Wilson, Sherri and Marshall Richards, Dona and Jason Endries, and April and Max Cline; and many cousins and friends.
