Merideth C. Fayette, 77, formerly of Winthrop

WINTHROP -- Merideth C. Fayette 77 of Leesburg, sadly passed away on 7/7/24 at Cornerstone Hospice House in Tavares, Florida due to complications from Alzheimer’s disease.

She was born on December 12, 1946, in Massena, NY to Kenneth and Bessie (Moulton) Cline.

On July 3, 1965, Merideth married her high school sweetheart Marshall Fayette. They resided in Winthrop, NY until 1997 when they moved to Leesburg, FL to enjoy their retirement lives together.

During their 59 years of marriage, Merideth & Marshall enjoyed traveling and spending time at their camp in Colton, NY.

Merideth is survived by her husband, Marshall; her children, Michelle (David) Corbett of NY, Michael (Ashley) Fayette of FL; a sister, Christine (Vernon) Gokey of AR; granddaughters: Casey (Benjamin) Dent, Samantha Corbett, Taylor Fayette, Mikayla Fayette, Taylor Schwarz, and Chloe Fayette; great grandsons: Liam, Rylan, Emmett Dent; sisters-in-law, Charlene (Russ) Perry, Cathy Fayette.

She is predeceased by her parents, a sister, Betsy Barry, and a brother-in-law, Larry Fayette.

A private celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements will be made later in Colton, NY.
