GOUVERNEUR - Eleanor (Ann) Anson Wells. 86 of Gouverneur, NY went to be with her Lord and savior on September 20, 2024 in Bradenton, FL.
Ann was born in Russell, NY to Eleanor Branch and Francis Anson on May 29, 1938.
She worked at RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology) in New York before moving to Florida in 1974 where she retired from Edison College. She loved getting together with her co-workers for monthly luncheons. Enjoyed crafting and making cards for her friends and family.
Ann is lived on throughout her children; Candy Burson (Pat) of Farmington, NY. Kirk Wilmarth (Rae) of Wapakoneta, OH. April Lattanzi (Michael) of Lehigh, FL. Carole Wong (John) of Bradenton, FL. Parnelli Gard of Port Charlotte, FL. Her sister Connie Nolan of Norfolk, NY. Brother Linden Anson (Angie) of Richville, NY and brother Randy Anson (Tammie) of Albany, NY. Along with 18 grandchildren and 14+ great grand children.
She is preceded in death by her parents Francis and Eleanor Anson, along with 6 brothers, Frank, Bill, Mitchel, Walter, Arthur and Bert Anson.
A graveside service will be led by Rev. Randy Anson. Held at South Russell Cemetary on Oct. 11, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a luncheon at Degrasse Fire Hall.
