MASSENA -- The Massena Central School Board of Education has changed the meeting place and time for tonight's regularly scheduled board meeting.
Those wishing to attend will be directed to the high school auditorium for a 7 p.m. start. A scheduled executive session is scheduled for 6 p.m. prior to the meeting and will tentatively take one hour.
The move to the auditorium is due to the extreme heat and humidity, with officials saying the auditorium will provide a much more comfortable and cooler environment, along with a shorter walk for attendees.
On the agenda for tonight is the board's 2024 meeting schedule, two presentations from Director of Curriculum Nicole Charleson, along with a discussion regarding the 2024-25 Professional Learning Plan.
Charleson's presentations will encompass the Parent Square mass communication system and an overview of artificial intelligence in schools.
