MASSENA – SeaComm Federal Credit Union has committed $50,000 toward the expansion of the Massena Hospital Emergency Department.
This investment will assist in ensuring that the community has access to state-of-the-art emergency services in an updated facility, according to a statement from SeaComm.
By assuring Massena Hospital staff and providers have appropriate space to deliver care, SeaComm’s pledge joins those of the Massena Hospital Foundation and Massena Hospital Auxiliary, in assisting to improve the overall patient experience when in need of emergency medical services.
We are extremely pleased to provide Massena Hospital Foundation with our financial support for their Emergency Department expansion,” said SeaComm President & Chief Executive Officer Scott Wilson. “The hospital is a cornerstone of the greater Massena community and continues to meet the healthcare needs of our members, friends and neighbors, which is extremely important to us," he added.
The renovations of the emergency department include a refresh of current space and nurse stations, updated exam treatment rooms, the establishment of a family consult room/lounge, updated behavioral health rooms and registration areas, as well as new flooring and furniture.
