Margie M. Love, 87, Ogdensburg

OGDENSBURG -- A Memorial Service for Margie M. Love age 87 of Ogdensburg will be held on Friday June 28, 2024, at 1:00 pm at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home with Rev. Donna Fitchette officiating.

Calling hours will be held prior from 11:00 am until the time of the service.

Mrs. Love passed away peacefully on June 22, 2024, at her home in Ogdensburg.

She is survived by her sister, Barbara Barr of Watertown, NY; her stepsister, Shirley Trzaskos of Albany; her stepbrother, Arthur Leblanc and his wife, Ramona of Georgia; her daughter, Lucinda Ganz of Ogdensburg, NY; her stepson, Dean Love and his wife, Rebecca; her step-granddaughter, Amber Love and her husband, Alex Gubert of Virginia and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her sisters, Frances Durant, Joyce Powers, her brother, Jack Frederick, her stepbrother, Renee La Blanc, and her step-sisters, Annette Leblanc, Rita Charlton and Alice Warren.

Margie was born on December 9, 1936, in Potsdam, NY to Mary Helen Lenore Dake and George Frederick.

She married Gene L. Love on May 30, 1986, in Morristown, NY.

Her passion for jewelry design became her favorite occupation in her later years and was one in which she excelled.

Her compassion for pets lead her to adopt many cats in her life, which gave her family joy for decades. She will be sorely missed.
