The team was composed of 19 swimmers and three coaches including NTS Head Coach Joshua Jock from our Local Swimming Committee, or community. Swimmers 14 years old and younger had to reach a qualifying time to be selected to be on this team.

Caleb, 12, competed in five individual events and 3 relay teams. He swam the Boys 11-12 100, 200 and 400 Meter Freestyles along with the 100 and 200 Meter Backstroke races. He was on the Boys 11-12 200 and 400 Meter Freestyle Relays along with the 400 Medley Relay. This was Caleb's first time attending this meet.

She was on the Girls 11-12 200 and 400 Meter Freestyle Relays along with the 200 and 400 Medley Relays. Tori finaled in the 200 Backstroke finishing in 5th Place. Her time (2:33.27) qualified her for this meet again next year in the 13-14 age group. This year was Tori’s second time attending this meet.

Sonja, 14, competed in eight individual events and four relay teams. She swam the Girls 13-14 50, 100, 200, 400 and 800 Meter Freestyles, the 100 and 200 Meter Backstrokes along with the 400 Individual Medley (IM). She was on the Girls 13-14 200 and 400 Meter Freestyle Relays along with the 200 and 400 Medley Relays. This was Sonja’s third and final time being eligible to attend this Championship.

“Representing the Adirondack All-Star Team is a rare privilege for swimmers from St. Lawrence County,” said NTS Head Coach Joshua Jock. “These swimmers train hard year-round and it is a great reward to be chosen to be on this team. The experience of competing outside of our state is eye-opening, and the memories and friendships that were made on this trip will last a lifetime. It’s a lot of fun and fast swimming.”

Coach Jock has been selected to be an Adirondack Age Group Zone Coach several times.
