Kathryn Mary Lalonde, 72, formerly of Ogdensburg and Lisbon

OGDENSBURG / LISBON -- Kathryn Mary Lalonde, 72, from Bethel, Ohio and formerly from Ogdensburg and Lisbon, New York passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.

Kathryn suffered from a short battle with Leukemia.

Kathryn will be buried alongside her loving husband, Stephen Lalonde, on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 11 am at Notre Dame Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life will be held after her burial at the Moose Club at 12:30 pm.

A remembrance Mass will be on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 12 pm at St. Mary's Cathedral.

Everyone is welcome to attend any or all of the Tributes honoring Kathryn.

Kathryn is survived by a son, Brian Amo of Louisville, Kentucky, a daughter, Denise Amo Deardorf and her husband, Pat of Moscow, Ohio, a son, Jeffrey Lalonde and his wife, Stacey of Watertown, New York, a daughter, Nichole Renne, a son, Brian Lalonde both of Ogdensburg, New York, a brother, David Russell and Anne of Ogdensburg, New York, a sister, Lisa Oliver and her husband, Todd of Avoca, New York, a sister-in-law, Valerie Lalonde Delarge, a brother-in-law, Gregory Lalonde both of Ogdensburg, NY; her grandchildren, Devon Delaney, Nathan Jenkins, McKenna, Brody and Owen Lalonde, Zach, Sophia, Paxton and Carter Deardorf; Several nieces and nephews; along with her loving cats, Lily and Lucy.

Kathryn was predeceased by her husband, Stephen Lalonde (The love of her life), her parents, Howard (Ned) Russell and Edna (Doe) Russell, her brother, Thomas Russell, and her ex-husband, Alan (Bubby) Amo.

Kathryn was a 1969 graduate of Ogdensburg Free Academy.

She retired from Claxton Hepburn Hospital in 2016 before relocating to Ohio.
