Joyce Rose Coller, 92, Potsdam

POTSDAM -- Mrs. Joyce Rose Coller, age 92 of Potsdam, NY passed away on May 28th at the Canton Potsdam Hospital.

She was a resident of Legacy K for the past 4 years.

Arrangements for cremation are with Garner Funeral Service.

Joyce will be laid to rest at the Hermon Cemetery.

Joyce is survived by a son, Delbert (Susan) Coller; daughter, Deloras (Robert) Narrow; brother, Sanford (Patricia) Bacon; sister, Beverly Daniels; ½ brother, Lonny (Sherry) Peters; grandchildren, Chad Narrow and Charity Coller; great grandchildren, Kaisyn Planty, Cierra, Ashlyn and Jryden Besaw and several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband, Floyd L. Coller and a ½ brother, Larry Peters.

Joyce Rose Coller was born on August 21, 1931, in Watertown, NY to the late Ellwyn Bacon and Zella Lancto.

She attended rural schools in Antwerp and then Antwerp and Dekalb public schools.

On January 21, 1950, she was married to Floyd L. Coller in Canton, NY.

Joyce raised her family and then when the kids were older she went to work in the cafeteria for the Hermon Dekalb Central High School for years and then she went to work for Aramark at Clarkson University where she remained until her retirement.

Joyce was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She loved to travel, her flowers and plants, crafting, her pet and spending time with her family.
