Jeffrey S. Kuca, 63, Massena

MASSENA -- Jeffrey S. Kuca, 63, of Northview Drive, unexpectedly passed away Thursday morning, January 18, 2024, at his home.

Jeff was born on December 28, 1960, in Massena, the son of the late John F. and Lucille (Dufresne) Kuca.  He attended and graduated from Massena Central Schools and continued his education at Clarkson University, where he earned a degree in Accounting.   Jeff was a self-employed accountant and enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and playing cards, and was a former member of the Prospect Hunting Club in Chase Mills.  

Jeff is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, John III and Monica Kuca of Massena; his sister and brother-in-law, Stephanie and Hawley Goodell of Punta Gorda, Florida; his best friend, Mike MacPherson of Massena; and his much-loved cat, Felix.

Arrangements are under the care and guidance of the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena, where friends may call on Thursday 2-5:00 PM followed by a service at 5:00 PM.  Burial will be in the spring in Calvary Cemetery, Massena.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing may consider memorial contributions to be made in his memory to Massena Rescue Squad or a charity of one’s choice.
