POTSDAM — Randy and Amber Lindsey celebrated 50 years of marriage Saturday, Aug. 24, at Potsdam Sergi’s with about 30 friends and family present.
The couple currently resides in Hopkinton. He worked for ALCOA for many years and she worked at Sergi’s and Ponderosa.
Randy and Amber were married on Aug. 24, 1974 at St. Mary’s Church in Potsdam with Rev. James A. Bucaria officiating.
The couple honeymooned in Lake Placid.
According to the 2022 American Community Survey (ACS) data, just 7.7% of all current marriages have reached the 50-year milestone.
