Gregory David Perry, 55, Ogdensburg

OGDENSBURG -- Gregory David Perry was born to Sheila M. Perry and Larry D. Perry on August 23, 1968, in Petaluma, Sonoma County, California.

He attended Ogdensburg Free Academy where he excelled at football, until hunting season started.

Greg was employed most of his life as a carpenter. Outdoor activities were his favorite, especially fishing and, not surprisingly, hunting. His other great passion was cooking.

On June 18, 2024, in his hometown of Ogdensburg, New York, Greg passed away from a sudden Heart Attack. May he rest in peace and may all our fond memories of him live on.

He is survived by his loving mother, Sheila Perry of Morristown; his sisters, Jennifer Perry of Florida, Debra Perry (and her children, Dalton, and Rhea) of Colorado, and Nicole Tomassini (and her daughter, Kylie) of Ogdensburg; a brother, Dalton Perry, a nephew, Dalton Perry Jr., and Sue Perry his ex-wife, of Minoa. He is also survived by his long-time girlfriend Jamie Adams and her children Zachary, Katie, and Karissa. He was known as Papa to Avery, Natalee, Lynzee, Lyvee, Jackson and Sophia.

He was predeceased by his father, Larry D. Perry.

A private viewing was held for his close family. The family requests to honor his life in private.

No service will be held, but please feel free to celebrate his life in a meaningful way.

Life is hardest for those who are forced to struggle.
