GOUVERNEUR -- A Gouverneur woman was charged with driving while intoxicated following a personal-injury accident June 13, according to village police.
Stormy L. Marinella, 43, was charged with first-offense DWI, refusal to take a breath test and failure to yield right-of-way at a stop signal at the intersection of East Babcock Street and Clinton Street, police said.
Police determined her to be under the influence of alcohol, but she refused a breath test, police said.
Marinella was arraigned in Fowler Town Court by Judge Knowlton and released to a third party.
