GardenShare has announced that the weekend of June 20-22 will be the Summer Farmers Market Kick Off celebration.
Starting in Gouverneur on Thursday, June 20, then Canton on Friday, June 21, and finishing in Potsdam on Saturday, June 22, the markets will feature their usual line up of vendors, as well as some special additions. Each market runs from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Beyond the usual farmers markets attractions at each of these markets you can expect live music performed by Andrew Lamora and Mark Lyon on the 20th and 21st, family-friendly activities, and special vendors.
Then, on Saturday, June 22 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. the St. Lawrence County Arts Council will host their CRNY Artist Showcase in the Ives Park Pavilion.
The Farmers Market music series is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts.
