OGDENSBURG – The St. Lawrence County Fair Housing Task Force reports that CNY Fair Housing will provide Fair Housing training on Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 2 pm, and on Thursday, Oct. 22 at 10 am at the Dobisky Center at 100 Riverside Avenue in Ogdensburg.

These events will focus on fair housing essentials such as Federal and State housing laws prohibiting discrimination; lease rules and regulations; and State compliance issues related to advertising, the tenant screening process, and reasonable accommodations/modifications. Each 90-minute session will consist of a presentation with time for questions and answers. Both presentations will be delivered by Sally Santangelo, Executive Director of CNY Fair Housing. These workshops are free and open to the public. Renters, landlords, service organizations and property managers are especially encouraged to participate.
