COLTON — A total eclipse viewing block party will be held by the Raquette River Pub, 102 Main St., on April 8 from 2-5 p.m., on Colton’s Main Street Bridge and surrounding area between access points of the Stone Valley Hiking Trail. The bridge will be closed to traffic during the event for the public to enjoy an unobstructed view of the eclipse on the river. Free eclipse viewing glasses will be available, event shirts will be sold. Live music will be provided by the Backwater Duo. Drink and food specials will be available.
