Massena - Darlene A. Rushlow, 60, of Highland Ave., passed away at home on July 18, 2024 with family by her side while under the care of hospice.
Darlene was born on October 16, 1963 in Massena, NY, the daughter of the late James and Patricia (LaPage) Delosh. She graduated from Massena High School and married Steven Rushlow Sr. on November 16, 1979 in Massena. Darlene was a bartender at the American Legion in Massena for the past several years and customers became family to her. Darlene was one of the kindest people around. She always made sure no one went without. She would help you in any way that she could.
Darlene enjoyed playing cards, bingo, pull tabs and going to the casino. She also enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren.
Darlene is survived by her four children; Stacey (Partrick) Carr of Massena, Steven Rushlow Jr. and Jennifer Hines of Canton, Tracey (Chad) Sullivan of Bombay, Jessica (Jo) Rushlow of Massena; bonus daughter, Cortney Snyder; her grandchildren, Tori, Tanner, Tyleigh, Brayden, Zachary, Bryleigh, Trenton, Masyn, Kaidyn, Jayleigh, Jaysik, Kenlee, Kolten, Jaxon, Sara, and Emileigh, Amanda, Sam; great grandchildren, Troyston, Talliana, and Leelynd; a sister, Darcy Love and Brian Snyder of Massena; her brothers, Darryl Delosh (Milly Susice) of Massena, David Delosh of Clinton County, Darin (Tammy) Delosh of Massena, Dennis (Kay) Delosh of Massena, and Danny Delosh of Massena; her best friend, Barb Glidden; a sister-in-law Barb Rushlow; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Diane Delosh; a brother, Dale Delosh; a niece Tiara Crump; three nephews, Troy Delosh, Trever Crump, and Sheldin Delosh; and mother-in-law, Doris Rushlow.
A celebration of life will be held at the American Legion in Massena on August 24, 2024 at 3:00pm.
Memorial contributions in Darlene’s name may be made to the Richard Winters Cancer Treatment Center in Ogdensburg.
