POTSDAM — The St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce has announced the return of the Craft, Food & Wine Holiday Market to Maxcy Hall on the SUNY Potsdam campus following a one-year hiatus.

The annual two-day showcase will take place Friday, Dec. 4, from 2 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Billed as one of the North Country’s premier holiday shopping destinations, the event brings together more than 100 regional producers under one roof. Attendees can browse a wide selection of locally made items, including handcrafted goods, artisanal foods and regional wines.

“We’re excited for another Craft, Food & Wine Holiday Market at Maxcy Hall. The festive event is a fun-filled way to showcase the region’s exceptionally talented artisans, support our members and provide a unique holiday shopping experience for our residents and visitors,” said Ben Dixon, executive director of the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce.

Organizers encourage residents to support small, regional businesses and shop locally during the holiday season. Given the event’s size and range of offerings, attendees are advised to bring large shopping totes.

Applications for the curated event will open to St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce members in early September, followed by an application period for nonmember vendors.
