Private Ethan F. VanBrocklin, 18, of Colton, graduated from United States Marine Corps boot camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island on October 4, 2024.
Private VanBrocklin successfully completed 13 weeks of intensive basic training at MCRD Parris Island as one of 100 recruits in Training Platoon 3074. Following ten days home on leave he will report to Camp LeJeune for one month at Military Combat Training then Military Occupation Specialty School.
Private VanBrocklin is the son of Jamie M. And Chad R. VanBrocklin, and the grandson of Fay and Barbara VanBrocklin (Colton) and Sandra and the late John (Jack) White (Massena).
He is a 2024 graduate of Colton-Pierrepont Central School.
