POTSDAM – Clarkson University students will spend the weekend serving the local communities of Canton, Potsdam and Ogdensburg in recognition of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Clarkson’s 11th Annual MLK Day of Service volunteerism will take place Friday and Saturday across the North Country with several on-and off-campus organizations.
Clarkson students will be participating in the following community service activities:
On Campus, there will be a chocolate sale Friday and Saturday. All proceeds will go to benefit the Potsdam Humane Society
On Jan. 21 students will also be working with the Adirondack Mountain Club on red sandstone sign maintenance.
Clarkson has been participating as community service partners for MLK Day of Service since 2013. Those that participate will receive a MLK Day of Service Button, and service hours.
