Charlotte Oakes, 79, Massena

MASSENA - Charlotte Oakes, 79, of Massena, passed away on July 12, 2024 at Massena Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Charlotte was born April 05, 1945 in Brasher, NY, the daughter of the late Sidney and Pearl (Anderson) Blair. She attended school at Brasher Iron Works School House and later married Myron Taylor on October 23, 1965 in Norfolk, NY. He later predeceased her on April 25, 2007. She then later married Ronald Oakes on June 6, 2014 in Massena, NY.
Charlotte worked at Valhaven in Massena and later at the St. Regis Nursing Home. She enjoyed camping, taking rides around the north country and spending time with her family.
Charlotte is survived by her husband, Ronnie; her children, Myron (Jill) Taylor of Norfolk, Charlene Taylor of Massena, Brenda (Brett) Shirley of Massena, William (Mellissa) Taylor of Norfolk and Paul (Natacha) Taylor of Massena; 15 grandchildren, Jocelyn, Myron Jr., Belinda, Donita, Corey, Connor, Nickolas, Brooke, Zachery, Carter, Riley, Ryan, Tanner, Kowin and Bryson; 4 great-grandchildren, Emma, Nuala, Hudson and Scarlett; a sister, Erma Johnson.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Joyce in infancy and Elenor Jock; a brother, Ernest Blair and a brother-in-law, James Johnson.
Friends and family are invited to call on Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 3:00 pm until time of service at 6:00 pm at the Donaldson Funeral Home in Massena.
