Chandra Lynn Caldwell, 67, Massena

MASSENA --  With heavy hearts, the family of Chandra Lynn Caldwell, age 67 report her passing, on Friday, May 24, 2024, at Canton-Potsdam Hospital surrounded by her loving and devoted family.

As per her wishes, there will be no public calling hours or funeral services.

The family has entrusted arrangements to the care and direction of the Phillips Memorial Home, Massena.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00pm on Wednesday June 19, 2024, at the AMVETS Post No. 4.

Chandra was born on June 19, 1956, to the late Michael and Dorothy (Day) Caldwell in Cornwall Ontario Canada.

She attended schools in Cornwall, later moving in her late teens to Weedsport, NY.

She was employed with Welch Allyn Corporations where she manufactured medical supplies for nearly 25 years.

She later relocated to the North Country and where she worked for a brief time at the Akwesasne Casino, and then later as a care giver for the St. Regis Tribe on Pikes Road in Hogansburg.

Chandra is survived by her son, Zachery A. Papineau, Jr. and her granddaughter, Alexi Papineau both of Massena, NY. She is also survived by her siblings, Mike McDonald and Diane Yaddow of Louisville, NY, Linda Cuff of Weedsport, NY, Blane Caldwell of Tulsa, OK, Robin Lazore of Hogansburg, NY, and Robert and Sue Caldwell of Chase Mills, NY along with several cousin, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
