Carmelo Canales Viruet, 48, Massena

MASSENA - Carmelo Canales Viruet, 48, of Massena, passed away on July 9, 2024 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
Carmelo was born August 15, 1975 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Carmelo Canales Diaz and Zaida Viruet Febre. He graduated from Jose Celso Barbosa School and worked construction for many years. He married Natasha Boardman on July 5, 2024.
Carmelo enjoyed being a father and spending time with his family.
Carmelo is survived by his loving wife, Natasha; his children, Isaiah Henry and Zaida Canales Viruet; two brothers, Omar Viruet and Guarionex Reyes Viruet; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents.
Friends and family are invited to call on Friday, July 19, 2024 from 1:00 pm until time of service at 3:30 pm at the Donaldson Funeral Home in Massena.
