Nature Up North's 6th Annual Cardboard Sled Race is slated for Saturday, Feb. 10, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., at the SUNY Canton Sledding Hill, 34 Cornell Dr.

With the race just around the corner, racers can start building their sled using cardboard, duct tape, and recyclable plastic bags.

Nature Up North will also have sleds for participants to borrow if sledders just want to take some runs down the hill.

Nature Up North's cardboard sled-building workshop will be held Saturday, Feb. 3, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., at the Wachmeister Field Station, 6104 Co. Rd. 27

In preparation for their 6th Annual Cardboard Sled Race, this workshop teaches you how to build your cardboard sled for the race.

Feel free to bring your own materials, or Nature Up North can provide them.

Cardboard, duct tape, plastic bags, glue, and paint are all allowed.

Divisions: Youth (12 and under), Open (13 and up), Family (multi-ages) and College.
