POTSDAM — Potsdam Chamber of Commerce recently awarded Aurora Wood, co-owner of The Highest Peak and Brian Mandell, owner of The FireHaus NY with a Business on the Rise award.

The award was presented at the Chamber’s annual spring luncheon at the Potsdam Town & Country Club.

Both businesses were recognized for their strategic growth and for bringing a new, safe product to the Potsdam community, Chamber officials said.

Also attending as a guest speaker was Riana Piccirillo of New Moon Cannabis who offered insights into how dispensaries and brands in New York are working to provide safe, effective, and desired cannabis products while simultaneously breaking down barriers to this highly stigmatized, and misunderstood plant.

The Potsdam Chamber of Commerce promotes local businesses and aims to facilitate opportunities for our member businesses to receive and give quality referrals.
