EDWARDS – The Edwards Arts Council will host the Barb Heller Variety Show as its final show of the season at the Edwards Opera House, 161 Main St., on Aug. 24 at 7 p.m. Heller and several regional performing artists will provide music, dance, magic, poetry, and mime. Performers include classical guitarist Doug Rubio, magic artist Bo Jest the Kosmic Konjuror, clarinetist Julianne Kirk Doyle, dancer Rebecca MacDougall, poet Dale Hobson, singer/songwriters Dick and Shelene Atkinson, and mime artist Bruce Brownlee. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. In-person (advance sales) and streaming tickets can be purchased online at www.edwardsoperahouse.com for $15. Tickets purchased at the door on show night are cash only sales. Children under 12 are admitted for free. Active and retired military discount is offered.
