OGDENSBURG — Watercolor paintings by Ogdensburg artist and native, Valerie Patterson, will be on display at Ogdensburg Public Library September 4 - 26.
The exhibition can be viewed during regular library hours. You can meet the artist during an opening reception on September 4 from 4-6 pm. The theme of the exhibit will be “Place.”
“Each of my paintings creates a place, a location that I implore you to emotionally enter," said Patterson.
Valerie was born in 1963 and grew up in Ogdensburg. After working and living away from Ogdensburg for decades, Valerie returned to her hometown in 2022.
